Emergence definition

The North Equatorial Current in the Atlantic Ocean is a specific manifestation of a current, which is a flow of charge through a conductor, resulting from the movement of charged particles, that generates electric and magnetic fields, enabling interactions between charged particles, and is a particular instance of a north equatorial current, which flows east-to-west between about 10° north and 20° north on the southern side of a clockwise subtropical gyre.
