Emergence definition

A small, sheltered bay or inlet of a sea, ocean, or large lake, often with curved shorelines, emerges from the intersection of an inlet, where a narrow body of water extends into the land, and a bay, where a body of water is partially enclosed by land, and the coast provides the boundary between land and water, and the water provides the liquid substance.
