Emergence definition

Custom is a culturally embedded pattern of behavior that is transmitted and expected within a community, shaping individual conduct and social norms, and emerges from the combination of community, embedded, behavior, and culture, where the shared system of meanings, behaviors, and institutions are transmitted, negotiated, and transformed through language, and the object, form, and structure of the community inform the design and construction of the custom.
