Emergence definition

A celestial body that is large enough to be rounded by its own gravity, but has not cleared its orbit of other objects, emerges from the understanding of white-dwarf, which requires stellar-evolution and star, and planet, which is a massive, self-gravitating celestial body in orbit around a star, composed of matter that is rounded by its own gravity.
