Prohibition is the outlawing of the consumption, sale, production, etc. of alcohol, which is a resource used in distribution, which is essential for the production, distribution, or exchange of goods and services, thus enabling consumption, and is a transformation of state or condition from one to another, driven by energy and occurring over a sequence of events.
