Reputation is the collective perception of an individual or group, arising from the dynamic pattern of behavior, which unfolds over time, and is shaped by the shared system of meanings, behaviors, and institutions that are transmitted, negotiated, and transformed through culture, resulting in a social standing that reflects past actions and behavior.
