Emergence definition

A stalagmite is a conical mineral formation that emerges from the interaction between water, which is a transparent liquid composed of hydrogen and oxygen molecules, and rock, which is a naturally occurring solid with a specific chemical composition and crystal structure, forming on the floor of a cave.
