Emergence definition

A swell emerges from the interaction of a system, where organized arrangement of interrelated parts work together over time, and a wave, a disturbance that transfers energy through a medium, such as water or air, resulting in a long-period wave caused by wind or underwater disturbances, propagating across ocean surfaces.
