Emergence definition

Tide is the periodic rise and fall of sea level, caused by the gravitational attraction of the moon and sun, which is a manifestation of the push or pull between objects with mass and their resistance to changes in motion, occurring over time as the progression from past through present to future, measuring duration and enabling the sequencing of events.
