Singapore faces energy supply risks as Indonesia curtailed gas exports, Bloomberg reports. The cut highlights vulnerabilities in relying on pipeline imports for energy security.

The move comes amid regional haze issues and political tensions between the two neighbors, Reuters notes. Singapore's government is now reviewing alternate energy sources and import strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.

Indonesia's decision adds pressure on Southeast Asian nations to diversify energy supplies and reduce dependence on single-source imports, as regional cooperation becomes more critical for stability.
