The Sun sits low in the southern sky over Southern Africa, casting long shadows and marking the transition from day to night. This positioning defines the terminator line moving across the planet's surface.

Mid-level cloud bands drift across the southern hemisphere, influenced by prevailing westerly winds and the subtropical jet stream. These formations indicate stable atmospheric conditions in this region.

Aurora activity remains minimal under current geomagnetic conditions, with no significant satellite traffic visible in the low-Earth orbit belt. The Moon phase is waxing crescent, appearing as a thin sliver in the pre-dawn sky.
