Tbilisi Court has concluded hearings in a new case against former Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, per Sova News. The proceedings follow ongoing legal scrutiny of the former Georgian leader amid political tensions.

The court's decision on the matter is expected to be announced soon, as observers await further developments in this high-profile legal case that could impact Georgia's political landscape, Sova News reports.

Meanwhile, a separate controversy erupted over the dismissal of a Tbilisi prison director amid an investigation into alleged inmate beatings, according to OC Media. The incident has drawn attention to prison conditions in Georgia.

Tbilisi City Hall also denied delays in the rehabilitation of Rustaveli Avenue despite a contract extension, OC Media notes. Residents continue to express frustration over infrastructure projects.
