Guinea's Gold Refinery Inaugurated
Guinea has inaugurated its first gold refinery in Conakry, marking a major milestone in the country's mining sector, per New National Star.
The facility, located in the Nimba region, is expected to boost Guinea's economy by processing local gold deposits domestically rather than exporting raw ore, Bloomberg reports.
