Ghana is strengthening its mining partnerships with China ahead of the Nanning Mining Conference, per gna.org.gh. The Ashanti Regional Minister emphasized cooperation with Guangxi in a move that underscores growing economic ties.

MyJoyOnline reports that Ghana seeks deeper Chinese investment in mining and mineral processing, highlighting potential joint ventures and technology transfer opportunities between the two nations.

The regional cooperation extends beyond mining, as China's New Canal is providing Guangxi with a cheaper route to sea for its plywood exports, according to woodcentral.com.au. This infrastructure development supports broader trade interests.
