Montenegro has closed two further negotiation chapters in its EU enlargement process, per EU News.
The European Commission said Montenegro could sign an accession treaty as early as June 2027, reports The Straits Times.
Despite political tensions, Podgorica's representative said joining the EU by 2028 remains 'very realistic', notes NewsBreak.
