Lando Norris secured pole position for the Brazilian Grand Prix, reports Formula1.com. The British driver dominated the rain-hit qualifying session, marking his third consecutive pole in São Paulo.

Max Verstappen, who started from the back of the grid, set his sights on a strong race performance, per Formula1.com. The Dutchman emphasized that he is aiming to maximize points despite starting in 20th place.

The Formula 1 season will continue to feature races in São Paulo through at least 2035, following a new long-term contract, ESPN.com notes. This decision ensures the city's continued role as a major F1 destination.
