South Africa’s ruling African National Congress (ANC) is facing its worst election results in decades, with support falling to just 31%, per Daily Sabah.

The ANC’s decline continues as it loses ground in local elections across the country, with Al Jazeera reporting significant losses in key metropolitan areas.

Johannesburg, a major political and economic hub, reflects this broader national trend, with analysts noting the party's diminished influence among voters.

The party's struggles underscore growing public discontent and shifting electoral dynamics in post-apartheid South Africa.
