The eighth wonder of the world.

In 1933 New York, an overly ambitious movie producer coerces his cast and hired ship crew to travel to mysterious Skull Island, where they encounter Kong, a giant ape who is immediately smitten with the leading lady.
In King Kong, consciousness is carried by animals — a plane of “giant ape tragedy”. The story fights on E8/E9/E10 of the E0–E14 reality ladder, compressing prejudice, exploitation, colonialism, nature, tragedy.
Films fighting at the same level of reality, about the same things.
The same preoccupations examined at another scale — one mind versus a nation.
Other films that move a human interior onto the same kind of thing.
