The scariest comedy of all time!

A young neurosurgeon inherits the castle of his grandfather, the famous Dr. Victor von Frankenstein. In the castle he finds a funny hunchback, a pretty lab assistant and the elderly housekeeper. Young Frankenstein believes that the work of his grandfather was delusional, but when he discovers the book where the mad doctor described his reanimation experiment, he suddenly changes his mind.
In Young Frankenstein, consciousness is carried by the dead — a plane of “reanimated monster comedy”. The story fights on E8/E9/E10 of the E0–E14 reality ladder, compressing prejudice, science, identity, love, class.
Films fighting at the same level of reality, about the same things.
The same preoccupations examined at another scale — one mind versus a nation.
