Everyone comes here looking for a way out

Set in the Aokigahara Forest, a real-life place in Japan where people go to end their lives. Against this backdrop, a young American woman comes in search of her twin sister, who has mysteriously disappeared.
In The Forest, consciousness is carried by the dead — a plane of “suicide forest”. The story fights on E8/E9 of the E0–E14 reality ladder, compressing grief, guilt, folklore, death, isolation.
Films fighting at the same level of reality, about the same things.
