The end is just their beginning.

Op and Ed, two adorable donut-shaped animals - flummels - accidentally time-travel from 1835 to modern-day Shanghai. There they discover traffic, trans fats, and worst of all, that flummels are now extinct. It's up to this bumbling pair to save themselves and their species...and, just maybe, change the course of history.
In Extinct, consciousness is carried by animals — a plane of “animal time‑travel adventure”. The story fights on E8/E9 of the E0–E14 reality ladder, compressing prejudice, extinction, time, culture, species.
Films fighting at the same level of reality, about the same things.
The same preoccupations examined at another scale — one mind versus a nation.
