Emergence definition

As the self integrates its experiences and perceptions, it gives rise to emotions, and among these, pride emerges as a distinct feeling that arises from the intersection of self-awareness and a sense of accomplishment or possession, where the self's qualities, achievements, or possessions are perceived as valuable and worthy of admiration, thus fostering a deep pleasure and satisfaction that is inextricably linked to one's sense of identity.
