Emergence definition

As self-awareness integrates experiences and perceptions, pride emerges as a distinct feeling that arises from the intersection of self-regard and a sense of accomplishment, giving rise to a deep pleasure and satisfaction that is inextricably linked to one's valued qualities and possessions, which is then amplified and intensified to become proud, a state of elevated self-regard and admiration for one's achievements and qualities.
