Suggest a word or phrase
The lexicon has 1266 concepts and is missing plenty. If a word carries a hidden emergence — something whose meaning is really about parts interacting, a threshold, a drift, a feedback — it belongs here. Tell us which one, and why it is more than it looks.
What makes a good suggestion
- Ordinary words with a hidden mechanism. Burnout, momentum, red tape — everyday terms that are really describing a system doing something. Better than technical vocabulary that already has a textbook.
- Phrases count. Death by a thousand cuts, race to the bottom, the last straw — a phrase is one lexical unit here, not the sum of its words.
- Say what interacts. The entry has to name components, an interaction, and what is novel in the whole. If you can sketch that, the definition almost writes itself.
What happens next
Suggestions are reviewed by hand. Accepted ones are drafted against the rules the validator enforces — computed level, definitional closure, a chain that terminates at the four foundations — and only published if they pass. A word that cannot be closed is a word the graph is not ready for yet; those wait until their prerequisites exist.
