Vampire Hunter D (1985)

In a far-future time ruled by the supernatural, a young girl requests the help of a vampire hunter to kill the vampire who has bitten her and thus prevent her from becoming a vampire herself.

In Vampire Hunter D, consciousness is carried by monsters and creatures — a plane of “vampire aristocracy”. The story fights on E9/E10 of the E0–E14 reality ladder, compressing prejudice, power, class, immortality, tradition.
